Mission Briefing

By the end of this mission, you will be able to:

  • Explain what a robot is

  • Identify the key characteristics that make something a robot

  • Describe how sensors, actuators, and programming work together

  • Give a real-world example of a robot you might use every day

Let's Get Started

Have you ever seen a vacuum cleaner zip around a room on its own, dodging furniture like it knows exactly where it's going? Or watched a movie where machines think and talk like people?

Not every machine you've seen is actually a robot — even though it might look like one. By the end of this lesson, you'll know exactly what separates a true robot from an ordinary machine.

Robo says: “Welcome aboard! I'm Robo 🤖, your guide for this course. Robots are everywhere — in factories, hospitals, even your living room. But what actually makes a machine a ROBOT? Let's find out together.”
